WHERE WE ARE
The Garden Route is a unique area in the South Eastern part of South Africa. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of rivers, lagoons, beaches, mountains and forests. The mild climate throughout the year and many available activities combine with wonderful scenery to make this a tourist destination during any month of the year. Click here to see a map of the area.
The Garden Route is easily accessible by car or plane:
You can fly to George Airport from Cape Town, Johannesburg or Durban, hire a car and enjoy your independence, or be met at George Airport by your teacher or your hotel. The flight from Cape Town is 50 minutes. If you drive from Cape Town (four and a half hours) you will enjoy complete independence for the duration of your stay.
Sedgefield, in the heart of the Garden Route, is where your English teacher is based. We recommend that you look in Accommodation for bookings in Sedgefield. However, there are wonderful places to stay from Mossel Bay through to Storms River and everywhere in between.
